The Skive
The Skive are a three-piece punk/garage band hailing from Stevenage, which is genuinely the 42nd worst town in the UK. Known for their raw, in-your-face energy, they bring a no-nonsense, politically charged sound to every performance. With a reputation for blowing the roof off of every venue they play, they deliver blistering speed, powerful anthems, and lyrics that pack a serious punch. Their punk is pure, unfiltered, and full of reckless energy. The lineup is a family affair: Fred on guitar and vocals, his brother Kyle on drums, and their friend Joe on bass. Together, they are a force to be reckoned with. Through their music, they take a hard, honest look at the state of the UK, challenging the status quo and calling for change. It’s all about unity, and they’re pulling you along for the ride whether you’re ready or not.

Their music is marked by driving basslines, intricate rhythms, and atmospheric synths, with sharp guitar riffs and haunting vocals. Each performance is an electrifying exploration of sound, constantly evolving and always unpredictable. With a growing fanbase and new music on the way, Newbuild is a band to watch as they continue to push musical boundaries.
